BERTAGGIA INTERNATIONAL LAW FIRM
Cookie policy
Last updated: 19 September 2026
This policy explains cookies and similar technologies on www.avvocatobertaggia.org. For information about the firm, enquiries and privacy rights, read our Privacy policy.
What cookies do
Cookies are small records stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, tracking pixels and embedded third-party content. Some support essential website functions; others concern preferences, audience measurement or advertising. A session cookie ends with the browser session; a persistent cookie has its own expiry or remains until deleted.
Manage your choices
The website uses Pressidium Cookie Consent, installed locally in WordPress, to record cookie preferences. The panel is available in English in this section and in Italian on the Italian website. You can change or withdraw optional consent at any time.
Select Accept all, Reject optional, or choose individual categories and select Save my preferences. Necessary functions remain enabled. Refusing optional cookies does not prevent access to the firm’s public information or direct email and telephone contacts.
Categories and services
Actual storage depends on the page, embedded services, browser and your choices. The settings panel lists configured cookies and available expiry information.
- Necessary: the consent record, website security and essential session functions.
- Statistics: audience measurement and source attribution, including Google Analytics and identifiers beginning sbjs_. Optional and disabled initially.
- Advertising and marketing: Meta/Facebook, advertising identifiers and embedded video. Google Tag Manager can deliver both advertising and measurement tags and is held until this category is accepted; Google consent signals separately reflect the statistics choice. Optional and disabled initially.
- Optional features: external maps, reviews, appointment tools and chat. These providers can receive technical information when their services load. Optional and disabled initially.
Consent records and retention
The first-party pressidium_cookie_consent cookie remembers your selection for up to 182 days, unless you remove it earlier or a material configuration change requires a new choice. The WordPress consent manager also records consent choices locally to document preferences. A cookie’s expiry is distinct from how long a provider keeps information derived from it.
Withdrawing a category reloads the page to apply the new choice. The manager clears configured cookies where technically possible. Your browser can also remove stored cookies; cookies belonging to external domains may need to be removed using browser controls. Withdrawal does not automatically erase information already held by third parties.
External services
Third-party services may process technical data outside the European Economic Area. Their own notices explain their practices: Google, Meta, vcita and Voiceflow. Following a link to an external platform brings that platform’s privacy choices into scope. Essential security services may operate independently of optional categories.
If the preferences panel fails to open, check browser extensions and privacy settings, or contact the firm. Deleting the consent cookie causes a new request for your choice.
